NOTE! Appointments for lodging the application for Schengen visa should be booked in advance via consul.sg@mfa.lt  

Usually visa proceeding time is 7 to 15 days. Passport is kept at the Embassy the whole period of proceeding. Visa fee - 90 EUR to be paid by bank card only.

The Schengen visa application form should be filled in on the following website: https://www.migracija.lt/en/

To access the application form, choose your nationality from the list, then select the Schengen visa application form and create your login.

List of supporting documents to be submitted by visa applicants in Singapore

General requirements

a.) Booking for a round-trip airline ticket

b.) travel itinerary incl. hotel accommodation reservation or similar confirmation of accommodation for the entire trip

c.) proof of legal residence in Singapore, valid for at least 3 month beyond the intended travel

d.) travel inssurence 

Documents to be presented depending on the purpose of travel

1. Business trip

a.) mediation letter from the applicant's business partner in the Schengen area stating purpose and duration of the visit. Mediation letter must be submitted via Migration department website

b.) guarantee letter from the applicant's employer, stating the details of the applicant, the employment duration, designation, purpose and duration of travel

c.) if stay is extended for personal holiday- see documents for Tourism/Visit family/friends:

- proof of personal funds (3 month bank statements)

- approved leave from employer

- travel health insurance covering the additional stay

2. Visiting family and/or friends

a.) Mediation letter from the host in the Schengen area, which may take the form of a proof of sponsorship or private accommodation by means of a national invitation form. Mediation letter must be submitted logded via Migration department website

b.) Proof of the applicant's financial circumstances (such as three months of bank book statements, bank account statements or fixed deposit statements).

c.) letter from the applicant's employer confirming the holiday granted

d.) if 3rd person is sponsor:

- (formal national) obligation/ sponsor letter

- proof of funds of sponsor (3 month bank statement)

- proof of relationship to sponsor (e.g. Birth/marriage certificate)

e.) travelling together with family members:

- proof of relationship ( e.g. Birth/marriage certificate)

f.) Leave of absence:

- if self-employed: recent copy of ACRA bizfile

- if student: leave approval dates/ school holiday, stating course and length of course

g.) Visit of partner (boyfriend/girlfriend):

- proof of relationship (e.g. recent photos, previous rental agreement with both names, common law certificate)

- signed invitation letter incl. information on relationship history

3. Tourism

a.) Proof of the applicant's financial circumstances (such as three months of bank book statements, bank account statements or fixed deposit statements).

b.) letter from the applicant's employer confirming the holiday granted

c.) if 3rd person is sponsor:

- (formal national) obligation/ sponsor letter

- proof of funds of sponsor (3 month bank statement)

- proof of relationship to sponsor (e.g. Birth/marriage certificate)

d.) Leave of absence:

-if self-employed: recent copy of ACRA bizfile

-if student: leave approval dates/ school holiday, stating course and length of course

- student on school trip, confirmation letter from school incl. info on payment

- student attending sports event/course, confirmation letter from school about course and leave of absence/ school holiday

e.) travelling together with family members:

- proof of relationship ( e.g. Birth/marriage certificate

Specific requirements for certain categories of travellers

1. Spouses/partners of EU citizen

a.) Marriage certificate

b.) Passport of EU citizen

c.) Legal status of EU citizen in Singapore, if applicable

2. Minors

a.) For minors intending to travel without their parents/ legal guardians, the application is to be submitted by the parents/ legal guardians who must present the minor's birth certificate and give their written consent.

If parents/ legal guardians are not present in Singapore, their written consent should be legalized by the relevant Embassy in the place of residence of the parents/ legal guardian

b.) travelling with just one parent/ legal guardian:

- signed consent letter by non-travelling parent/ legal guardian

- copy of parents/ legal guardians passport incl. signature

- legal status of parents/ legal guardians in Singapore

- if applicable legal document confirming sole custody

3. Students

a.) students must provide proof of enrolment at a Singapore educational institution (school/ university)

4. Domestic helper

a.) Proof of funds: - employers bank statements (last 3 month)

b.) Employers passport

c.) Employers legal status in Singapore

d.) signed invitation letter from employer including

- reason to travel

- travel dates

- destination(s) within Schengen area or travel itinerary

- mode of accommodation incl. address(es)

- confirmation that employer and domestic worker will be travelling together for the whole trip (incl. outward and return journey)

- confirmation that employer is responsible for all travel expenses of the applicant and her/his well-being

e.) Employment contract: domestic worker has to be with employer for at least 1 year

f.) (national) formal obligation/sponsor letter from employer, confirming that all expenses are covered, as well as accommodation
